At 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015, there will be a special Memorial Service at Camp Beauregard to commemorate the Confederate soldiers who served and died at the camp near Water Valley during the fall and winter of 1861-1862.  The Tilghman-Beauregard Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans will host the event.

Dr. Tom Hiter will offer brief remarks, and the program will conclude with a rifle volley by uniformed reenactors.

Camp Beauregard is located approximately one mile east of US Highway 45, near Water Valley, KY.  There are signs in Water Valley with directions to the cemetery.

The public is cordially invited to attend this Memorial Service.  It is suggested that those attending bring their own lawn chairs.  In case of inclement weather the service will be cancelled and may be rescheduled for a later date.  For information contact Camp Commander, Scott Parker, at 731-336-9893.
